Outback Steakhouse Alice Springs Chicken – a flavor explosion! 


– 1/2 cup honey mustard dressing
– 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
– 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
– 1 cup sautéed mushrooms (optional)
– 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or skillet.
Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning mix all over the chicken breasts for added flavor.
Cook the Chicken:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, add a little oil and sear the seasoned chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from heat.
Add the Honey Mustard:
Drizzle the honey mustard dressing over each chicken breast, ensuring they are well-coated.
Layer with Bacon and Cheese:
Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the chicken breasts, then top with shredded Monterey Jack cheese. If desired, add sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
Bake:
Transfer the skillet or baking dish to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
