Loaded Nachos with Ground Beef and Fresh Tomatoes
½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
¼ cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Sour cream and guacamole for serving (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Ground Beef:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add the taco seasoning (and a bit of water if needed) to the meat. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
Assemble the Nachos:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
On a large black plate or a baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.
Evenly distribute the cooked ground beef over the chips.
Sprinkle both the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the top.
Bake the Nachos:
Place the assembled nachos in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Fresh Toppings:
Remove the nachos from the oven and immediately top with diced tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, and fresh cilantro if desired.
