Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Mash


• 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
For the Mashed Potatoes:
• 2 lbs Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
• ½ cup heavy cream (or milk)
• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• ¼ cup sour cream (optional for creaminess)
• Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
• In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender (15-20 minutes).
• Drain, return to the pot, and mash with heavy cream, butter, and sour cream (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.
2. Cook the Steak Bites:
• Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).
• In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Cook steak bites for 2-3 minutes per side until desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
