Black Pepper Chicken 


1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
In a bowl, combine the chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Cook the Chicken:
Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry until it’s browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same pan, sauté the onions, red, and green bell peppers until they start to soften. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add Chicken and Season:
Return the chicken to the pan. Sprinkle in the ground black pepper and sugar. Add water, stirring everything until the chicken and vegetables are well coated with the sauce and heated through.
Serve:
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot, preferably over steamed jasmine rice.
